Future Network ServiceDisability & Specialized Support

Disability and specialized support is built around one idea: every person deserves the opportunity to live life on their own terms. This support focuses on independence, participation and individual goals, providing tailored help that fits a person's specific needs and aspirations. It's a key part of the inclusive care network Bethel Care Connects is developing.
What this support may include
Because needs and goals vary so widely, this support is highly personalised and may include:
- Support with daily routines and personal care
- Help building skills and greater independence
- Support to access community, education or work
- Assistance with communication in the person's preferred way
- Encouragement of choice, participation and inclusion
- Support tailored to specific and individual needs
Who may benefit
People living with physical, developmental or other disabilities benefit from support that recognises their individuality and potential. Families also benefit from knowing their loved one is supported by professionals — such as Developmental Service Workers (DSWs) and support workers — who champion inclusion and independence rather than limitation.
Our person-centred approach
We believe support should be led by the person, honouring their choices, communication style and goals. The aim is never to define someone by their disability, but to remove barriers and open doors — meeting each person exactly where they are and moving forward together.
How Bethel Care Connects can help
As Bethel Care Connects grows, we're building a network of skilled professionals committed to inclusive, person-led support. Tell us about the goals and needs involved and we'll help you explore your options. DSWs and specialized support professionals are warmly invited to join our network.
